Guardian is growing and would love to welcome in even more talent to our family.  Guardian Veterinary Specialists flagship hospital is in Brewster, NY with a surrounding hospital in NY. We continue to expand constantly.

We are looking for motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine to join our group of exceptionally talented specialists and veterinary support staff. Our specialty departments include critical care; surgery (soft tissue, orthopedics, laparoscopy); neurology/neurosurgery; oncology; ophthalmology; cardiology; and rehabilitation. Imaging/diagnostics include MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound.

We are looking for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join a motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine to join our group of exceptionally talented specialists and veterinary support staff.

**Applicant's MUST have their own Reliable Transportation**

At Guardian Veterinary Specialists, we diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiac conditions including:
  • Congestive heart failure.
  • Congenital heart disease, including aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, patent ductus arteriosus.
  • Acquired heart disease, including heart valve disease, pericardial disease, dilated cardiomyopathy.
  • Arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders).
  • Pericardial and pleural space disease.

As veterinary specialists, we offer a complete array of today’s most technologically advanced diagnostic and treatment resources for our patients and their families, including:
  • Echocardiogram.
  • Electrocardiogram (with and without contrast).
  • Angiography.
  • Balloon valvuloplasty.
  • Cardiac CT.
  • Fluoroscopy.
  • Holter monitoring.
  • Pacemaker implantation.
  • Patent ductus arteriosus occlusion.
  • Pericardiocentesis.

Qualified applicants for this role:
  • Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost.
  • The desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Cardiology.
  • Must be open to working overnights.
